Dallas, Texas – the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced this week that they have selected a solution to support their information technology modernization and Center of Excellence efforts that includes the creation of a Forms-as-a-Service capability, using the Form.io platform.
In a press release announcing the award, GSA stated that the award was for, “accelerating the digitization of paper-based forms and electronic records management.” HUD CIO David Chow added, “We are looking forward to deploy…proofs leveraging artificial intelligence, Forms-as-a- Service, and records management.”
The Forms-as-a-Service solution will be implemented by Systems Engineering Solutions Corporation who bid Form.io, after extensive market research. “We are delighted to win the award and we look forward to building out the Forms-as-a-Service solution,” said Seth Hirsch, Chief Operating Officer at SES Corporation. “We knew that Form.io provided us the scalable progressive web-based platform to help us realize the modernization and forms digitization goals of HUD.”
The Form.io Federal award at HUD is another in a series of recent Public Sector wins around the world, including governments in Europe, Asia, Australia, as well as state and local governments in the United States. “As governments and agencies grapple with standard forms, they’ve begun to understand that older solutions are dead-ends,” said Gary Wetzel, Co-Founder of Form.io. “Our solution is a de-coupled platform that allows forms to be easily created by anyone, while at the same time providing APIs to developers, so they can feed data into modern web-based applications. We’ve designed it to be incredibly agile and scalable. We’ve also been successful, because our pricing model creates an almost immediate return on investment.”
